Job Description:
Job Duties: Reviews invoices for application to correct budget programs and applies accounting travel policies to expense documents; and enters them into the accounting system. Responds to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from first-purchasers and boards; and provides answers and information requiring knowledge of accounting policies and procedures. Reconciles general ledger information to budgets on a monthly basis and provides reports to the boards. Maintains database of first-purchasers and ensures timely receipt of excise taxes. Creates Treasurer's documents for deposit of cash and checks. Performs routing administrative support duties, which include: scanning, daily deposits, and file organization.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) and MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Other: Regular and Reliable attendance is required.

Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines independently.
Attention to Detail: Accurate in reviewing data, tracking progress, and ensuring quality in documents and reports.
Adaptability & Teamwork: Flexible in responding to changing needs, and collaborative in supporting team projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, data analysis), and familiar with databases and tracking systems.
