Primary objective:
Responsible for interacting directly with students and prospective students regarding admissions requirements, including evaluating student transcripts, determining residency, performing data entry, and assisting students with the application process to accept the best students for the school and ensure that the admission department runs smoothly.
Areas of responsibility:

Gather and review student applications.

Conducting tests for students’ entry exams.

Preparing the report of the tests and the recommendations.

Helping families by answering their queries (in person, phone calls and emails, etc.) and inviting them for tours if possible.

Guiding parents in their application process.

Ensure that the files are complete and organized and receiving and giving files to students when they are accepted or when they move to other schools.

Coordinate with different departments when accepting new students or when they move to another school by making sure that every department that needs to be informed is aware.

Collecting the information that is needed from new students and families joining.

Tracking the system and making sure of the new applications and contacting them if needed.

Preparing reports and statistics of the department.

Helping with any office work that might be added or needed for the department.

Apply and Improve admissions process and procedures.

Work departmentally on school-wide projects, as needed.

Assist other staff members, when necessary.

Undertake additional duties as and when required by the line manager.
Safeguarding:

The post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the designated safeguarding lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in special education or any relative major (essential).
Experience:

+5 years relevant experience.
