Position Summary

Are you a dynamic communicator who wants to be an ambassador for life-changing training programs? Skillpoint Alliance is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to directly recruit prospective, qualified students for our South Central Texas Region. In this role, you will facilitate the application, admissions, and enrollment processes, establishing a strong community presence for our growing South Central Texas programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit and Outreach: Recruit participants from the region. Raise awareness and establish Skillpoint's presence in South Central Region: New Braunfels and San Antonio and surrounding counties (including Hays, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, Bexar, and Gonzales) by tabling at events, attending job fairs, and building relationships with community-based organizations and local employers.
  • Admissions & Enrollment: Manage inbound inquiries and facilitate all aspects of the admissions process for HVAC, plumbing, and manufacturing applicants. This includes interviewing, assessing, and selecting applicants based on eligibility, job readiness, and potential for success.
  • Public Speaking & Presentations: Actively maintain recruitment presentation materials and present to community groups, prospective applicants, referral partners, and potential funders.
  • Data Management: Keep internal databases (such as Airtable) meticulously updated with accurate applicant and student information to ensure strict grant compliance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1–2 years of previous experience with admissions and recruitment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate records.
  • Proactive work ethic with a flexible growth mindset, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Commute to primary locations: New Braunfels and Seguin, TX, with occasional travel to events around the South Central Texas community, including San Antonio

  • Pay: $55,000.00 per year
