We are hiring an outstanding Admissions Secretary to join GEMS International School. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate and eager to contribute to the academic success of our students.
GEMS International School, Al Khail, opened in September 2013, as a premium school offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
Job PurposeWelcome and provide new parents and students with a positive first impression of the School by presenting school curriculum and achievements. Organize and manage the admissions procedures of students and maintain records and files of all current and prospective students.
Job ScopeResponsible for assisting with the admissions procedure for students to the school.
Internal & External InteractionQualifications / Knowledge: College Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in a customer focused role.
Skills: Excellent written/spoken English language skills; effective interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with a diverse multi-cultural population; must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
GEMS Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of its students and staff. A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
