The Ads Executive will support the planning, execution, and optimization of Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on paid media professional who is strong on execution, data handling, and learning through real-world campaigns while working closely with senior team members.
This role is expected to take early ownership of execution quality and gradually absorb basic optimization and QA responsibilities typically handled at the Ads Specialist level, as part of on-the-job growth.
Experience & Expertise
- 2+ years of experience as a Paid Search / Paid Social Executive or in a similar role
- 2+ years of experience planning and executing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns
- Completed courses or certifications in Web Analytics (GA4, GTM, or related tools)
- Practical exposure to performance marketing within an agency or in-house environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn from live campaigns and apply feedback quickly without repeated execution errors.
Strategy & Ownership
- Execute campaign tasks as per defined strategies and briefs shared by senior team members
- Support campaign setup, optimization, and daily monitoring activities
- Use approved AI tools to assist with research, ad copy creation, data analysis, and reporting while adhering to internal processes, quality standards, and performance benchmarks

- Independently handle full campaign setups (ads, extensions, targeting, budgets) after initial guidance, with zero preventable errors.
- Perform self-QA checks on campaigns before and after launch using defined checklists.
- Escalate data anomalies, tracking inconsistencies, or performance red flags proactively instead of waiting for reviews.
- Begin contributing basic optimization ideas and observations, preparing for Specialist-level responsibilities.

- Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, Excel, and other office productivity tools
- Experience using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and similar tools for campaign and audience research

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to review campaign data and identify performance trends
- Support analysis with logical reasoning and data-backed observations
- Assist in forming recommendations based on performance insights and historical data
- Develop clarity in interpreting metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and conversion rate

Communication & Reporting
- Communicate effectively with team members and line managers
- Assist in preparing campaign performance reports and summaries
- Clearly explain observations and findings in a structured manner
- Support client reporting with accurate data and timely updates
- Responsible for ensuring data accuracy in reports—incorrect or unverified numbers are considered execution failures.
Work Ethic & Growth Potential
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Collaborative team player with a positive learning mindset
- Demonstrate accountability for assigned responsibilities and outcomes
- Show intent and capability to grow into more strategic and leadership-oriented roles over time
- Repeated preventable errors (wrong budgets, incorrect targeting, broken tracking, missed QA steps) will directly impact performance evaluations and growth eligibility.
- Consistent execution accuracy and proactive ownership are mandatory for progression to Ads Specialist.
Industry Awareness
- Stay informed about digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices
- Actively learn new features, tools, and methodologies within paid media
- Expected to stay aligned with internal Ads Department standards, documentation practices, and QA protocols.
