Position Overview

Movassaghi Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced, passionate Advanced Aesthetician to join our team. An Advanced Aesthetician is a licensed skincare professional with extensive training and expertise, specializing in performing more complex and advanced aesthetic treatments like chemical peels, laser therapy, microdermabrasion, and specialized facials, often requiring a deeper understanding of skin conditions and the ability to tailor treatments to address specific client concerns, while providing thorough consultations and client education on proper skincare practices. They typically work in medical spas or dermatology offices alongside medical professionals. This role offers a competitive pay range, with the higher end driven by an incentivized compensation model including commission opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• In-depth client consultations: Conducting thorough skin assessments to identify individual needs and concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and discuss potential risks and benefits of advanced procedures.
• Advanced treatment delivery: Performing a variety of advanced aesthetic treatments, including deep chemical peels, laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, radiofrequency treatments, and specialized facials for acne, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and scarring.
• Post-treatment care instructions: Educating clients on proper post-treatment skincare routines, including product recommendations and sun protection protocols.
• Medical knowledge and safety protocols: Understanding skin physiology, potential side effects of advanced treatments, and adhering to strict sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Product knowledge and sales: Recommending and selling professional-grade skincare products to clients based on their individual needs.
• Staying updated on industry trends: Continuously attending workshops and seminars to stay informed about new technologies and treatment advancements in the field of aesthetics.

Required Qualifications

• Oregon Esthetician License: A valid license to practice aesthetics in the state of Oregon.
• Advanced Esthetics Certification: Completion of a specialized training program in advanced aesthetic techniques, including laser therapy, chemical peels, and advanced facial treatments.
• Strong communication skills: Ability to clearly explain procedures, address client concerns, and build rapport with clients.
• Attention to detail: Precise execution of treatments with a focus on client safety and comfort.
• Customer service skills: Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor to provide a high-quality client experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

• Oregon Esthetician License (Required)
• Advanced Esthetics Certification (Preferred)
