KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Associate, Strategy - People Strategy for our Strategy practice in Deal Advisory and Strategy.
Responsibilities:

Provide HR consulting services to Fortune 1000, middle market and private equity clients for buy and sell-side deal (stand alone, carve-outs, spin-offs and bolt on transactions) and performance improvement engagements

Perform financial due diligence on workforce, HR function (HR employees, payroll, time and attendance, HR technology, talent acquisition) and total reward programs (retirement, health & welfare, stock-based awards, executive employment contracts and other change-in-control agreements)

Develop and implement strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) recommendations within the Human Resources functional space as well as analyze total rewards benchmarks and adjustments to reward levels and programs

Deploy employee experience and change management strategies to support affected workforces as well as conduct workforce analyses through primary and secondary sources

Design and develop models to analyze financial and HR operational performance

Communicate findings of analysis and key implications in written and verbal formats
Qualifications:
-
Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months; Bachelors/Masters in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Math, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, or Human Capital Management from an accredited college or university

Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above

Strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills, demonstrated quality service mindset and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work

Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership

Work location may be in the office, at client sites or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
