Job Description:

We are hiring an Advocate / Legal Officer for our textile manufacturing company to handle end-to-end legal matters, with strong exposure to NI Act Section 138 (Cheque Bounce) cases, litigation, contracts, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Section 138 cheque bounce cases – drafting, filing, follow-ups, and court appearances
  • Manage civil, criminal, commercial, and recovery cases
  • Draft and vet legal notices, agreements, contracts, and replies
  • Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and authorities
  • Coordinate with external advocates and track case status
  • Handle legal compliance, statutory notices, and documentation
  • Provide legal advice and support to management and finance team

Requirements:

  • LL.B from a recognized university
  • Enrolled with State Bar Council
  • 3–7 years of relevant legal experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in NI Act 138 cases
  • Good drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in manufacturing / textile industry preferred

Salary:

As per experience / Industry standards

Preferred Candidate:

  • Can independently handle cases
  • Court exposure is mandatory
  • Immediate or short notice period preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
