Job responsibilities:

• Full understanding of land, tenancy laws and other applicable rules pertaining to land

activities of Karnataka State.

• Ability to understand gaps in land documentation and provide appropriate solution for the

risks involved in the proposed land parcels.

• Networking with leading lawyers especially dealing with renewable energy in Karnataka

for litigation, obtaining due diligence reports and opinions at competitive cost.

• Vetting of land documents in lenders prospective and internally circulating of in-principle

observations.

• Handling land litigations to ensure smooth execution of sites.
• Should be willing to travel to sites in Karnataka and to deal multiple sites in terms of due

diligences as required.

• Drafting of Land Documents (Viz. Agreement to Lease/Sale, Power of Attorney, Lease /

Sale Deed, Indemnities/Undertakings and other deeds etc.,)

• Knowledge of Kanada is mandatory, and Lawyer/Advocate from Karnataka is required.
• Preferably experienced into Renewable Energy field/in doing Diligence for larger land

acquisitions.
