Aerial Application Ground Crew/Loader - Seasonal

We are hiring seasonal full-time Agricultural Aviation Ground Crew to join our team for the 2026 summer season. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role in a unique aviation environment working outdoors supporting aerial application operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Mix and load crop protection products and fuel into aircraft safely and accurately
• Communicate with and assist pilots during aircraft turnaround
• Receive, track, and manage product inventory
• Operate forklift and company pick up trucks with fuel trailers
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Keep loading areas and equipment clean and organized
• Perform basic maintenance on loading equipment
• Multitask efficiently during fast-paced aircraft operations

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Fast-paced aviation environment with safety-critical responsibilities
• Standard full-time hours during normal operations
• Peak season requires extended hours, weekends, and early start times (as early as 5:00 AM)
• Shifts may run until sunset during peak periods
• Peak demand typically lasts 3 weeks
• Flexible scheduling for students returning to school (June–August focus, with flexibility)
• Work takes place half in Chilton, and many times at airports around Wisconsin with our vehicles. Company provides non-shared hotel room on overnights.

Requirements:

• Must be 18+
• Valid driver’s license (clean record required)
• Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends during peak periods
• Ability to be away from home for occasional overnight stays
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
• Commitment to a full summer season

Preferred / Required Training:

• Must have or be able to obtain a DATCP Mixer/Loader License (Wisconsin)
• (Employer will assist and fund training, this requires commitment to studying for and passing an exam prior to season start)
• Aviation and/or agricultural experienced preferred, but not required
