Aerial Surveyor
Location
Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification
-
Diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Certification or training in aerial survey techniques and UAV/drone operation is a plus.
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in aerial surveying, preferably in mining, construction, or related industries.
Requirements

Proficiency in operating drones/UAVs and aerial survey equipment.

Strong knowledge of GIS, photogrammetry, and remote sensing technologies.

Ability to process and interpret aerial data and generate accurate maps and reports.

Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Pix4D, or similar.

Understanding of safety protocols related to aerial operations in industrial environments.

Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with survey teams and site management.

Basic proficiency in use of GPS survey equipment
Responsibilities
-
Plan and execute aerial surveys using UAVs/drones and other aerial survey equipment.

Capture high-resolution aerial imagery and data for topographic mapping and mine planning.

Process and analyze survey data to create accurate digital maps, models, and reports.

Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and geologists to ensure data accuracy and project requirements.

Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on survey equipment and drones.
-
Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during aerial operations.

Maintain clear documentation of survey activities and data for project records.

Set-out and pick-up of ground control points

Assisting the survey team with point pick-ups, set-outs, and general field work as required.
