Job Purpose


The MCO Learning & Development Lead delivers high-quality, locally relevant learning programs tailored to specific market needs. They work in close collaboration with global teams to adapt and execute learning strategies, ensuring cultural relevance and regulatory alignment. The Local L&D Lead supports both the facilitation and operational aspects of training, acting as a bridge between global content and local execution. The MCO Local L&D Lead plays a key role for local product launches, onboarding & certification, and capability initiatives, translating business goals into impactful learning programs while meeting compliance and audit standards.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Qualified trainer who can deliver specific learning programs that are F2F (ILT) or virtual trainings (vILT) and certify customer facing employees

  • Customizes learning programs to local requirements with support and in close collaboration with GLS, including adapting to local standards, norms and cultural aspects and overseeing translations

  • Gathers local needs and compiles feedback to inform updates / content creation

  • Accountable to ensure end-to-end training execution: facilitation of trainings and all logistics are properly arranged for each training session, including survey or attendance tracking when needed

  • Ensures localization of onboarding and certification, workflows, glossaries, and style guides for consistency

  • Supports and informs relevant stakeholders on new learning objects to keep our Global Customer Facing Resource Library relevant and updated

  • Accountable to ensure training performance improvement and business impact. Reports and final KPIs standardized will be provided by Global Learning, corrective actions will be led locally.

  • Engages with regional L&D teams, vendors, translators, and compliance/legal teams across countries


About you

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field

Basic Qualifications

  • Experienced L&D Leader with hands-on experience similar role for French speaking country (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia...)
  • Minimum relevant years of experience: Experience in pharma: more than 5 years. Experience in L&D: more than 2-3 years
  • Language: Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Degree: Bachelor’s Business or relevant degree
  • Cultural Competence: Understanding the local language and cultural norms

  • Stakeholder Management: Partnering with stakeholders, vendors, and local teams

  • Communication: Localizing onboarding materials and style guides

  • Project Management: Manage training logistics and deployment plans

  • Facilitation: Skilled in delivering engaging training sessions

  • Technology Proficiency: Using learning platforms and tools effectively
