Separate Positions Available

TreeHouse Learning Academy is seeking passionate and responsible teachers to join our after-school enrichment program for elementary and middle grade students (K–8).

Open Positions (Separate Classes)

• Chinese Mandarin Language Teacher
• Drawing/ Painting/ Art Class Teacher
• Abacus / Mental Math Class Teacher

Each position is for a separate class. Applicants may apply for one or more positions depending on qualifications and availability.

Student Age Group

• Elementary & Middle Grade students (Grades K–8)

Schedule

• After-school hours (weekday afternoons)
• Part-time positions
• Schedule varies by class

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for your subject area
• Foster a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
• Support student academic growth, confidence, and participation
• Communicate professionally with program staff and parents
• Maintain classroom safety and organization

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in elementary or middle grades
• Chinese Teacher: Fluent in Mandarin (speaking required; reading/writing preferred)
• Art Teachers: Experience in drawing or painting (depending on position)
• Abacus Teacher: Experience teaching abacus or mental math preferred
• Patient, dependable, and enthusiastic
• Background check required (California requirement)

Compensation

• Competitive hourly pay, based on experience
