After School Tutor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Tutor to support students in their academic development and foster a positive learning environment. This role involves working with children of ages between 5-12, providing academic assistance, and promoting effective learning strategies. Duties

• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students after school hours across different subjects.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, and understanding core concepts.
• Support classroom management during tutoring sessions to maintain a positive and focused environment.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation, confidence, and independent learning.

Requirements

• Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or classroom management is preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and learning technology tools.
• Experience working with children, including preschool or early childhood education settings.
• Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and adapt teaching methods for diverse learners.
• Childcare experience or experience working with children in educational environments is advantageous.
