Aftersales & Technical Services Manager – Electro-Mechanical and Building Management Systems Projects

Role Overview

This department represents a mainstream revenue center. The role combines managerial and technico-commercial responsibilities with the following scope of work:

1- to oversee installations and optimize post-handover on-site support services,

2- to focus on clients retention and new accounts acquisition,

3- to lead a large technical team (engineers and technicians) and optimize on-site operations in the field of Electro-Mechanical and BMS projects,

Key Responsibilities

1-Lead, and motivate; plan, and organize work and field interventions of a large team of service engineers and technicians

2-Identify after-sales opportunities, including O&M, and upgrades projects

3-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and main contractors

4-Prepare technical and commercial proposals and negotiate service level agreements

5-Ensure timely execution of installations and service works in compliance with quality, safety, and contractual standards

6-Act as the main technico-commercial point of contact for clients during installations and/or aftersales phases

Skills & Knowledge Required

1-Baseline knowledge in Electro-Mechanical, and BMS contracting/installations and/or maintenance services

2-Ability to structure offers, including reading and modifying installations drawings, BOQs, and service level agreements

3-Proven leadership, planning, and organizing skills

4- Proven commercial skills with a distinctive forté in communication, negotiation and closing.

Experience in Qatar or GCC market is a definite plus

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in MEP / contracting environment
