Agile Lead Coordinator - Temporary

The Agile Project Coordinator supports Agile Project Managers and cross-functional teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, and Editorial.

This role combines strong project coordination fundamentals — scheduling, documentation, task tracking, and budget support — with growing responsibility in Agile facilitation, metrics tracking, and delivery process improvement.

The Agile Project Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to Agile principles, while actively developing the skills and mindset required to grow into an Agile Project Manager.

The impact you'll have:

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, expenditures.
  • Organize, attend and actively participate in project meetings (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc)
  • Document and follow up on important actions, decisions, and risks.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Agile Project Managers as needed
  • Ensure documentation is maintained and aligned with established delivery frameworks.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Help teams adhere to agile practices and evolving delivery frameworks.

  • Observe and contribute to team ceremonies and continuous improvement discussions
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication, documentation, or team coordination.
  • Begin facilitating smaller agile ceremonies under mentorship.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency of timelines, risks, and dependencies.

  • Ensure deadlines are met and proactively communicate potential risks to delivery.

  • Support budget tracking and vendor coordination where applicable.

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, Engineering PMO support, or agile team environments.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and hybrid Agile practices.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence without authority. Certifications such as CSM, A-CSM preferred but not required.

Travel: While this position is based in the US, the expectation is to visit the Billerica, MA office 1-2 times a year and to visit other Curriculum Associates’ Product and Tech center locations as needed.

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay – This role’s base pay is $35/hour. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.


Benefits – Temporary and per-diem employees who average at least 30 hours of work per week within the Company’s look-back period are eligible to enroll in medical coverage after 90 days of employment. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary and per-diem employees are eligible for accrued sick time.
