Job description:

Job Purpose
  • Coordinate the interface with assigned Owners of Ras Laffan Terminal Operations (RLTO) facilities concerning contractual and commercial terms to ensure all agreements are compliant.

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Develop and support negotiations of new agreements between owners and RLTO ensuring agreement terms and conditions are defined and upheld by both parties.

  • Coordinate and review existing Agreements between owners and RLTO ensuring terms and conditions are defined and upheld by both parties.

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings between the owners and RLTO/Company departments to ensure adherence to the agreements and to resolve issues.

  • Liaise with RLTO management team, Legal department and specialist disciplines and facilitate the negotiation of standard and non-standard agreements in accordance with company standards, business needs, contractual arrangements and owner’s requirements.

  • Obtain and deliver timely operational, financial, commercial and SHE information to owners for review. Act as communication focal point to report any potential interruptions of the ability to receive, store or export products from the producing entities in the Common Facilities as stipulated by the agreements for follow up.

  • Prepare and submit Technical Committee Meeting (TCM) and Management Committee Meeting (MCM) presentation material and coordinating TCM’s to ensure timely communication with facility owners on operational and commercial matters.

  • Coordinate commercial activities for successful integration of RLTO operations with Company business management systems to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Advise and conduct activities for owners and prospective owners on business issues such as asset valuation, buy-in processes, financial models and risks factors to ensure understanding and compliance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Law.

Knowledge and/or Experience
  • 6 years of experience in a commercial or technical role within oil and gas industry.
  • Commercial agreement negotiation experience.
Technical and Business Skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Computer Literate, (MS Office packages).
  • Flexible and innovative with a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Well-developed facilitation skills.
