Agricultural Equipment Senior Sales Engineer

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the agricultural industry
  • Provide technical expertise and consultative support to clients regarding equipment functionality and features
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and potential customers
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote products
  • Offer after-sales support and troubleshooting assistance to clients
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in agricultural technology and equipment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or technical support of agricultural equipment
  • Proven track record in sales or technical support roles within the agricultural sector
  • Strong understanding of agricultural machinery and equipment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Familiarity with the latest agricultural trends and technologies
  • Strong technical background with understanding of agricultural machinery
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a customer-oriented approach
