Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Agriculture & Irrigation Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in softscape and irrigation system design, shop drawing preparation, and site execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in irrigation systems, softscape implementation, and project coordination, along with excellent computer and drafting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and implement irrigation systems for various softscape projects in accordance with client specifications and approved drawings.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate irrigation and softscape shop drawings, layouts, sections, and detailed drawings in compliance with approved designs and authority requirements.
• Develop as-built drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical documentation related to irrigation and softscape works.
• Oversee softscape works including soil preparation, planting techniques, and landscape maintenance strategies.
• Supervise installation, reinstallation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of irrigation systems in line with project specifications and industry standards.
• Monitor installation and maintenance of all plant varieties to ensure quality and sustainability.
• Utilize AutoCAD, irrigation design software, and other engineering tools to produce detailed drawings, water demand calculations, irrigation schedules, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with landscape architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure timely approvals and smooth project execution.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions to resolve site challenges.
• Monitor site progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure project completion within approved timelines and budgets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in softscape and irrigation projects, including shop drawings and site execution.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, irrigation design software, MS Office (Excel, Word, PDF), and relevant project management tools.
• Solid knowledge of plant science, soil management, irrigation materials, and equipment.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Gulf region experience is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
