Agriculture Officer

• Farmer Advisory: Guide farmers on crop cycles, new techniques, disease prevention, and efficient use of fertilizers and pesticides.
• Scheme Implementation: Help roll out government programs (e.g., soil health cards, crop insurance, farm employment).
• Inspections & Testing: Check horticulture produce, livestock health, farming methods, and collect samples for lab analysis.
• Data & Reporting: Collect agricultural statistics, monitor crop yields, and prepare reports for district offices.
• Resource Distribution: Oversee the distribution of improved seeds, bio-fertilizers, and irrigation kits.
• Financial Linkage (Field Officer Role): Promote bank loans/insurance, assess farmer eligibility, and manage loan/premium payments.
• Collaboration: Work with local governments, scientists, and communities on agricultural projects.
