Role Overview

We’re looking for an AI Video R&D Lead — a technical innovator and creative problem-solver — to spearhead the research, prototyping, and implementation of AI systems for video automation, generative content, and creative asset optimization.

You’ll work at the intersection of video production, AI, and software development, collaborating with developers, data scientists, and motion designers to create proprietary tools that redefine what’s possible in video creation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AI-based video R&D projects — including generative video, smart editing automation, and AI-assisted 3D/2D animation tools.

Prototype and test workflows that merge machine learning, motion design, and storytelling.

Work with the internal production team to integrate AI automation into real-world video projects (social, real estate, events, and AR content).

Research and experiment with tools such as Runway, Pika, Sora, Kaiber, Stable Video Diffusion, and OpenAI video APIs to create proprietary workflows.

Collaborate with developers to design backend systems for video rendering, data tagging, and asset versioning automation.

Manage freelance engineers and designers involved in AI tool testing and creative pipeline optimization.

Document findings, build internal knowledge bases, and propose new monetizable tools or services based on R&D results.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in video production, AI development, or creative tech R&D.

Strong understanding of machine learning in media, video rendering, or generative AI workflows.

Hands-on experience with Python, After Effects scripting, RunwayML, or AI APIs (OpenAI, Stability, ElevenLabs, etc.).

Familiarity with computer vision, motion tracking, and AI model integration.

Strong visual sense and understanding of video storytelling, composition, and motion.

Ability to manage technical freelancers and align cross-disciplinary teams.

Bonus: Experience building internal tools or creative automation pipelines.
