AI Developer (MySQL + AI Chat Integration)

We are looking for an experienced AI Developer to integrate an intelligent AI Chat System into our existing PHP website with a MySQL database.

Our database is approximately 10 to 30 GB in size and contains large text entries (long paragraphs and detailed listings). The goal is to enable users to type natural language queries into a chat box and receive smart, conversational answers drawn directly from our MySQL database.

The system should be:

• Fast in retrieving and indexing data
• Accurate in understanding user intent
• Capable of summarizing and responding like a human
• Flexible, supporting either API-based AI (e.g., OpenAI) or local LLaMA models

Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate an AI-powered chat box into a PHP website.
• Implement vector-based or semantic search to handle long text data efficiently.
• Optimize MySQL indexing for fast response times.
• Configure and fine-tune local or cloud AI models (LLaMA, OpenAI API, etc.).
• Ensure smooth interaction between AI model and MySQL data.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with PHP or any good framwork and MySQL
• Knowledge of AI model integration (LLaMA, OpenAI, or similar)
• Experience with vector embeddings, semantic search, or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Understanding of database optimization for large datasets
• Ability to work independently on a project basis

Nice to Have:

• Experience with LangChain, FAISS, or pgvector
• Familiarity with API rate limits, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning LLMs
