AI Engineer

® Job Summary:

The AI Engineer will be responsible for building practical and scalable GenAI applications—including chatbots, RAG systems, and AI agents—supported by reliable data pipelines and rigorous evaluation frameworks. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, production-ready AI solutions that meet enterprise needs.

® Accountability & Responsibilities

· Develop end-to-end GenAI applications, including chatbots, RAG systems, and autonomous agents.

· Build and maintain data pipelines, embeddings, and vector search infrastructure.

· Conduct prompt engineering, testing, and evaluation to improve model performance.

· Implement and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs for backend and frontend interfaces.

· Create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept (POC) applications for internal and client use.

· Ensure clean, maintainable code and deliver comprehensive documentation.

· Collaborate with data teams, product teams, and senior AI architects to refine solutions.

· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply continuous improvements.

· Follow governance, security, and compliance requirements for AI deployments.

Requirements


1 – Required Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in AI software engineering, ML engineering, or data engineering.
  
• Delivered at least two AI applications into production.
  

2 – Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases (Qdrant, Milvus).
  
• Hands-on experience with embeddings, similarity search, and RAG pipelines.
  
• Strong foundations in prompt engineering and model evaluation.
  
• Ability to design and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs.
  
• Basic front-end development experience for POCs (React, HTML/CSS, or similar).
  
• Familiar with Git/GitHub, Docker, Jupyter/VS Code, and Postman.
  

3 – Certifications:

• NVIDIA AI Developer (Preferred)
  
• Cloud AI Architect – Azure / AWS / GCP (Plus)
