Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled AI Engineer to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have at least 1.5 years of hands‑on experience in deploying and fine‑tuning open‑source Sovereign Large Language Models (LLMs). You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling AI solutions, ensuring secure and efficient deployment of LLMs, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate advanced AI capabilities into our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage open‑source Sovereign LLMs in production environments.
• Fine‑tune LLMs for domain‑specific tasks such as text generation, summarization, and Q&A.
• Collaborate with data scientists and backend engineers to integrate AI models into applications.
• Optimize model performance, latency, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards in AI deployments.
• Conduct experiments, evaluate models, and document results for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and open‑source LLM ecosystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1.5 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with open‑source LLM frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, RAG pipelines, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with fine‑tuning techniques (LoRA, PEFT, parameter‑efficient training).
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) for retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in collaborative teams.
