AI & Innovation Manager

AI Strategy & Innovation Leadership

• Define and execute company’s AI and innovation roadmap aligned with business goals
  
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to apply AI, automation, and data-driven solutions
  
• Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning across the organization
  
• Establish a structured innovation pipeline with clear stage gates, KPIs, and decision frameworks
  

Venture Building & Product Innovation (0 → 1)

• Own the full lifecycle: opportunity discovery → concept → prototype → pilot → validated MVP
  
• Build and lead a small, senior team of product builders, designers, and technical generalists
  
• Drive momentum across 2–4 parallel product experiments
  
• Make decisive calls on what to build, pivot, pause, or kill
  
• Work closely with leadership, domain experts, and early users to shape solutions in real time
  
• Present clear, evidence-based go / no-go recommendations
  

Rapid Prototyping & Experimentation

• Build and ship functional prototypes within days using no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Bubble, Webflow, Retool, Airtable, Zapier, Make, n8n, Thunkable)
  
• Develop “Wizard of Oz” MVPs to validate assumptions before full investment
  
• Design experiments that generate meaningful insights, not just activity
  
• Test products with real users (e.g., brokers, buyers, investors, lenders)
  
• Define and track success metrics such as activation, conversion, retention, and unit economics
  

Technical Leadership & Scaling

• Stay hands-on—building alongside the team when needed
  
• Design scalable system architectures transitioning from prototype to production
  
• Make sound technical decisions around APIs, backend infrastructure, databases, and integrations
  
• Bridge rapid prototyping with production-grade engineering
  
• Partner closely with engineering teams during handover and scale-up phases
  

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Operations, IT, and Commercial teams
  
• Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and startups
  
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience building digital products in startups, scale-ups, or venture environments
  
• Proven track record of launching 3–5 products from idea to live MVP with real users
  
• Strong technical foundation in backend development, APIs, solution architecture, and data modeling
  
• Deep experience leading teams in high-speed, ambiguous environments
  
• Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code tools and rapid prototyping
  
• Comfortable with light coding (Python, JavaScript, Node.js) and API integrations
  
• Strong understanding of AI technologies (Machine Learning, NLP, Automation, Data Analytics)
  
• Experience embedding AI into business processes and products
  
• Experience in PropTech, FinTech, or marketplace platforms
  
• Strong understanding of MENA markets, especially Egypt and KSA
  
• Background in venture studios, innovation labs, or startup builders
  
• Experience in regulated industries (real estate, finance, payments)
  
• Proven ability to hire, mentor, and scale high-performing technical teams
