Senior Product Manager

SOKNA is Egypt's first holistic end-of-life care service, addressing the challenges of the

entire experience: before, during, and after. The technology team builds systems that

help families navigate loss with care and dignity, and help staff manage emotionally

demanding, operationally complex work.

The domain is sensitive, the workflows are intricate, and the stakes are deeply human.

In moments of loss, technology should remain in the background and appear only when

truly needed, quietly and reliably.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Discovery and User Research: Conduct field observations, stakeholder

interviews, and workflow mapping to uncover needs and define requirements.

  • Product Strategy and Planning: Own the product roadmap, prioritize based on

business direction, write clear requirements, and defend the "No" when needed.

  • Prototyping and UX Validation: Create wireframes and prototypes, test with real

users, and iterate until the solution fits the reality of the field.

  • Execution Coordination: Hand off validated requirements to engineering, ensure

delivery matches intent, and coordinate field testing and release readiness.

  • Operational Integration: Work with operations to integrate new features into daily

workflows, supported by clear documentation and feedback loops.

What We Expect

  • 6+ years of proven track record in Product Management roles. A Bachelor’s

degree in Computer Science or a technical field is highly preferred.

  • Comfortable with hard problems. You are drawn to challenges that most people

find difficult, whether that's navigating ambiguity, working across unfamiliar

workflows, or operating in a domain as heavy and meaningful as end-of-life care.

  • A '0-to-1' product builder who thrives on ambiguity and possesses the grit to

architect product solutions from the ground up.

  • Comfortable with technology and curious about it. You reason about software

behavior, think in edge cases before features are built. You are curious about the

latest tools, including generative AI and prototyping tools, that bring ideas to life

quickly and test them early.

  • Passion for user experience and real impact. You are empathetic to users,

obsessed with getting the experience right, and motivated by solving problems

that genuinely matter.

  • Expertise in driving alignment and clarity across stakeholders and XFN teams to

ensure flawless execution.

  • Ownership and communication. You drive decisions, not relay messages, and

you communicate them clearly, whether that's writing precise requirements or

navigating difficult trade-off conversations.

Benefits

  • A leadership pipeline role with real ownership. You drive your own line of work.
  • A growing team where early members shape culture, process, and product

direction for years to come.

  • A culture that empowers growth and learning, with access to an international

network of domain experts.

  • Team-oriented and supportive work environment.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Full medical coverage.
