Job Purpose:

Proactively manage daily Airfreight forwarding activities of the company, including all air export & import and cross-trade operations, customs clearance, and associated services ..

Handling the freight forwarding operations and daily coordination between customers and DPW appointed agents/ airlines and service providers.
Responsibilities:
-
Plan and execute the required freight forwarding activities against the customer request.

Coordinate, follow up, arrange, document, and fill the shipment documents (invoices, packing list, Air Waybill (AWB) draft, etc.) with Airlines, General Sales Agents (GSAs), and service providers..

Coordinate the shipping process between the customer and the service providers (Airline, Air Cargo Terminal, customs broker, trucking company, agents, etc.) to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Communicate with all stakeholders (customers, Airlines, truckers & service providers etc..) to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.

Ensure timely and accurate data entry into our operations system.

Maintain updated reports of shipments tracker and send to customers on a weekly basis.

Provide information to customers about the status of their shipments.

Follow up the customer complaints to close internally with clear action plan and responsibility.

Check and process international Airfreight shipping documents.

Support finance and trade teams with accurate documentation for invoicing and compliance.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor educational degree (Preferable Logistics field or equivalent)

A minimum of 3 years working experience in the field of Logistics & Freight Forwarding Airfreight operations, regulations, and documentation.

Must have in-depth knowledge about the Air Cargo market and freight forwarding industry.

Strong knowledge of Airfreight specific laws, regulations, and IATA/Dangerous Goods (DGR) requirements.

History of working within a target driven environment with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets.

Demonstrated experience as a Freight Forwarding Coordinator and in Airfreight Customer Service, including managing client inquiries, providing timely rate quotations, and handling track & trace requests.

Excellent English Language both written and spoken.

V. Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook

Excellent communication skills.
