Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Coordinator, located in Noida. The Freight Coordinator will be responsible for managing the import and export processes, coordinating freight shipments, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining communication with clients and transportation providers. Daily tasks will include tracking shipments, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with clients and transportation providers

Customer Service skills to address client inquiries and provide support

Knowledge of Freight operations, including import and export processes

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments and documentation

Proficiency in using logistics and tracking software

Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Relevant experience in transportation or logistics is preferred

Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Air Import Executive to handle air cargo import operations from pre-alert to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in freight forwarding, customs documentation, and coordination with airlines, CHAs, transporters, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end air import shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery
• Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, and airport cargo terminals
• Verify import documents: MAWB/HAWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin
• Liaise with CHA for customs clearance, duty payment, and regulatory compliance
• Track shipment status and provide updates to customers
• Handle delivery coordination, POD collection, and incident reporting (short landing, damage, delays)
• Verify vendor invoices and assist in job costing and billing
• Maintain accurate physical and digital shipment records for audits and SOP compliance

Requirements:

• 1–5 years experience in air import freight forwarding
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and airline operations
• Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and logistics software
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments
• Graduate in any discipline (Logistics / Supply Chain certification preferred)
