Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose

The GHQ Aircraft Maintenance Engineer assists the GHQ Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to carry out all maintenance work on aircraft, daily checks, routine servicing and pre-departure checks and is responsible for executing safe and efficient processes in aircraft repair, maintenance & servicing to meet operational demands, assists in accomplishment of the company’s goals & objectives and to grow internal certification capabilities.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Graduate of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
• Must have a general aviation license (A&P. EASA, ICAO TYPE II)
• Must have AW 139 type qualifications
• Minimum of 5 yrs AW139 experience
• Formal technical aviation discipline (preferably in helicopter)
• Trade training either at a Technical College or formal training school
• Knowledge of technical safety procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective problem-solving abilities
• Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to understand and write English

Desirable:

• Flexibility to work anytime required
• Travel at short notice with VIP aircraft
• Arabic is also preferable but not essential

GHQ is a maintenance contract for military registered aircrafts. Work rotation is 8 weeks on and 4 weeks off.
