Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Airfreight Operations Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing airfreight bookings, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments from origin to destination, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle airfreight bookings and ensure accurate shipment documentation.
• Create and manage Airway Bills in accordance with IATA regulations.
• Implement and manage a new electronic Airway Bill software to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate competitive rates and service agreements with airlines.
• Liaise effectively with carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve any issues or delays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience (4 years) in airfreight or logistics operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Airway Bill preparation and related procedures.
• Experience with freight management software is an advantage.
• (Preferred) Knowledge of customs clearance procedures in Abu Dhabi
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
