Airline Station Manager Part Time COU (Flight Benefits)

Job Summary:

The Station Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the airport terminal to ensure safety, goals and objectives are achieved.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains new employees.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, airline, and airport regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• CRJ Aviation is a drug free workplace. Pre-employment drug test required
• Ability to pass airport background screening and receive an airport SIDA badge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Be trained as a Ground Security Coordinator.
• Ability to complete and maintain reoccurring computer based and on the job trainings
• Be a qualified trainer.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Management of employees at assigned airport with respect to staffing needs, corrective action.
• Management of performance with respect to CRJ Aviation’s customers’ requirements and expectations.
• Instructs staff, leads, and supervisors to ensure proper workflow
• Performs audits of operations for safety risks and training needs.
• Responsible for the completion of administrative reports required by the customer and CRJ Aviation.
• Maintains supplies for all functions within the station.
• Oversees maintenance of station equipment and ensures quarterly PMs are conducted in a timely manner.
• Promotes a positive, inclusive, and team driven environment.
• Develop and implement fiscally responsible strategies within the operation.
• Maintains positive and constructive working relationships with airport administration and CRJ Aviation’s customer.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Five years of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to access and navigate the assigned facility.
• Team Member is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various types of tools and equipment (i.e., hand trucks, carts, ramps, tugs, etc.).
• May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 100 lbs.
• May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation (i.e., split shifts, delayed flights.
• Regular attendance is a requirement of the role.
• Exposure to heights, small spaces, extreme noise (i.e., airport with planes, vehicles, and other machinery), temperature, wind, and light fluctuations.
• Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to crawl in and out of small spaces for extended periods of time.
• Ability to wear personal protective gear.
• Ability to dress, comply and enforce dress code policy.
• Some travel will be a requirement for this role.
• Other duties as assigned.
