We are seeking an Allergy Department Administrator, proven track record in healthcare office management to drive our fast-paced multiple location Allergy Departments. This employee will manage the clinical operations of an allergy clinic, ensuring smooth daily functions and long-term business health. The ideal candidate will have experience opening new clinic locations.
Key responsibilities include, Staff and operations management: Hire, train, and supervise patient service reps and clinical staff, manage daily operations, including scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, inventory, staff coverage and implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency. Financial management: Manage the department budget and review financial reports with management and physicians. Provider and patient support: Optimize schedules and templates to improve patient access and productivity, ensure patient satisfaction by resolving barriers, communicating updates and collaborating with physicians on operational and clinical management issues and successes. Compliance and administration: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, maintain patient confidentiality, facility/equipment standards and manage facility and clinical equipment upkeep.
This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and healthcare experience, with qualifications including a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or equivalent experience. This position will oversee the workflow for multiple allergy department locations. The administrator will supervise both our customer service representatives as well as our medical staff. This person will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including but not limited to coordinating the templates for allergy patient appointments, interact with our vendors and complete a variety of administrative support tasks for our practice manager and providers.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to multi-task and prioritize their duties during a busy day, organize their work using tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and have a advanced knowledge of computer skills and office equipment. The preferred candidate will have previous experience as an office manager in the Healthcare industry.
