Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/IAS and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flows, working capital, and expense management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors for smooth audits.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Support management in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance where necessary.
- Ensure timely submission of financial and management reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Part-qualified / Qualified ACCA, ICMA, CA (Inter) preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, and taxation laws.
- Proficiency in ERP/Accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
