Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Sourcing
- Source and identify reliable manufacturers and suppliers through Alibaba, 1688, and other sourcing platforms.
- Evaluate suppliers by conducting factory verification, requesting samples, and reviewing trade assurance.
- Negotiate product pricing, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), lead times, and payment terms.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate product sampling, quality inspections (QC), and production timelines.
- Work closely with freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments.
Inventory Planning & Forecasting
- Develop inventory forecasting models based on sales trends, seasonality, and supplier lead times.
- Calculate reorder points, safety stock levels, and replenishment schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to improve demand planning and inventory accuracy.
- Track inbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.
Amazon FBA Inventory Management
- Create and manage Amazon FBA shipments from shipment creation through reconciliation.
- Monitor Inventory Performance Index (IPI) and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Manage stranded inventory, aged inventory, and removal orders.
- Optimize storage utilization and minimize long-term storage fees (LTSF).
- Coordinate inventory movement between third-party warehouses (3PL) and Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Utilize Amazon Seller Central reports to maintain inventory accuracy and forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Alibaba sourcing and supplier management.
- Proven experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment.
- Strong experience working with Amazon Seller Central (FBA).
- Excellent understanding of Amazon's Inventory Performance Index (IPI), restock limits, and storage fee management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and inventory forecasting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with freight forwarding, customs clearance, and Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.).
- Knowledge of Amazon compliance requirements and product listing standards.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management software is an advantage.
