Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an AML Compliance Officer, located in Abu Dhabi. The AML Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Key tasks will include conducting due diligence procedures, monitoring transactions for suspicious activity, and evaluating sanction lists to assess risks related to financial crimes. The role also involves creating and implementing compliance policies, providing guidance to staff, and ensuring the organization adheres to relevant local and international regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex financial data and identify unusual or suspicious patterns.
• Knowledge of sanctions regulations and procedures to manage risk assessment and ensure compliance.
• Expertise in finance and knowledge of financial systems used in monitoring and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing reports, working with teams, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in conducting due diligence and compliance checks to ensure adherence to established AML standards.
• Relevant certifications in AML or compliance (e.g., CAMS) are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory framework is an added advantage.
