Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager is responsible to oversee and ensure full compliance with applicable UAE laws, estate policies, engineering and operational standards, and internal control requirements. The Compliance Manager will lead risk assessments, internal audits, and regulatory reporting, while promoting a culture of ethical conduct and accountability throughout the organization

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification in compliance or auditing (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – CCEP, ISO Compliance, CIA, or CRMA) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor, data protection, and HSE regulations.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, or other quality and environmental standards is an advantage.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in compliance, legal, risk, or regulatory affairs.
  • Previous experience in engineering, facilities management, or estate operations is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of handling audits, internal controls, policy implementation, and staff training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regulatory Compliance & Legal Awareness

  • Deep understanding of UAE laws, labor regulations, HSE standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to interpret and implement statutory and estate-specific regulatory guidelines.

Risk Assessment & Internal Controls

  • Develop and manage internal audit schedules, risk registers, and corrective action plans.
  • Identify gaps and recommend measures to mitigate legal and operational risks.

Policy Development & Implementation

  • Draft, update, and enforce compliance-related policies and procedures across departments.
  • Ensure all teams are aligned with ethical standards and estate protocols.

Communication & Training

  • Deliver compliance training and awareness programs for management and staff.
  • Excellent reporting and documentation skills, including investigation reports and audit findings.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with department heads, legal advisors, and government authorities as needed.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
