Scope & Dimension of the Role

To ensure that the activities carried out by the Businesses in ME are compliant to all quality requirements as described in the Global QMS, associated policies and local procedures. Participate in the local management teams as a representative of Quality.

The individual should have knowledge of the Principles and Guidelines of Quality Business Management and how the principles of GDP maintain product quality throughout the distribution chain.

  • Provide quality and compliance support for the product portfolio in ME cluster.
  • Ensure on-going quality compliance of RB Global and local policies at BU level.
  • Create and maintain the Quality Management System for BUs.
  • Relentless Obsession with products on shelf – leads intelligent evaluation, interpretation of data and promote actionable tasks, leading remediation drive
  • Support in SAP implementation in commercial quality

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

LOCAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

  • Responsible to support the GM’s and their management teams to enable them to develop and implement the local Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure fully compliant products.
  • Work with local functions to develop and maintain all relevant procedures in line with the requirements of the Global & associated policies, relevant codes of practice and GMP/GDP and local requirements.
  • Establish separated QMS and ensure that QMS is maintained in a state of inspection readiness.
  • Ensure processes are in place to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the local QMS.
  • Ensure that improvements to products and procedures can be identified and fixed. The individual should understand:
  • The role of External Bodies as the competent authorities in ME.
  • The current regulations related to products in relation to storage and distribution.
  • Good Supply Practices for applicable categories.

SPECIFIC INVOLVEMENT IN QMS PROCESSES

  • Change Management: Facilitate the development and maintenance of robust and effective locally-based change control system (using Global tool - QualityOne).
  • Training: Train all staff in commercial organisation on the requirements of IMEx QMS/GDP and associated global and local policies.
  • Product Recall: As per the Critical Quality Events and Product Recall SOP establish, lead and communicate responsibilities. Participate in mock recall exercises to confirm adequacy of the local recall procedure.
  • Issues/ complaints management: For quality issues/ complaints originating in the commercial function, carry out investigation and apply corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Internal auditing: Responsible for implementing the local audit programme covering: Country Businesses in ME region and 3rd parties Distribution Centres, Embellishers and other service providers under scope of responsibility.
  • Maintain a Fit-For-Purpose QMS/Reviews: Report level of compliance of local QMS versus Global QMS, Policies and GMP regularly to GMs and Regional SVPs, and Supply Services Directors, driving closure of gaps to maintain compliance. Lead regular QMS reviews including QMS status, Risks, Decision-making (support) and Post Market Surveillance (Complaints, Market Supervision Events, Store Checks Issues).

DCs and EMBELLISHERS

  • Responsible for initial compliance assessment and qualification of Distributors & Embellishers handling RB Products, supporting Supply Services.
  • Support the preparation of Technical Agreements (TAs) for Distributors & Embellishers – ensure all quality expectations are included (e.g. change management, product handling, product release, responsibilities).

INTERFACE WITH REGIONAL/SUPPLY QUALITY

  • Work with regional Supply Quality teams to ensure implementation of appropriate controls to ensure consistent quality of products.
  • Work with the regional Supply Quality teams to analyze country product data/CAPA.

SUPPORT INSPECTIONS BY REGULATORY AUTHORITIES

  • Support local business units in the preparation for and responses to inspections by Regulatory Authorities from quality point of view. Ensure that any CAPA is resolved in a timely manner.

Professional Qualification & Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a quality and or regulatory compliance function in a Hygiene Home related industry.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a robust QMS in related industry.
  • Clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy and compliance risks.
  • Good understanding of typical Hygiene Home requirements.
  • Clear understanding to ensure operations do not compromise the quality of products and can demonstrate compliance with GDP.
  • SAP commercial quality knowledge.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 11 months

Pay: AED17,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
