Quality Assurance Officer

Ensures products/services meet standards by monitoring processes, testing/inspecting outputs, identifying defects, developing improvement plans, and reporting issues, often involving audits, training staff, analyzing data, and ensuring regulatory compliance across departments like production, IT, or finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring & Auditing: Conducting regular internal audits and inspections of processes, products, or services.
  • Testing & Inspection: Performing visual checks, diagnostic tests (for software), and sampling to find errors or non-compliance.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Documenting defects, analyzing quality data (like returns), and creating reports for management.
  • Process Improvement: Developing and implementing new procedures, quality controls, and training programs to reduce waste and enhance quality.
  • Compliance: Ensuring operations meet legal, industry, and company standards.
  • Collaboration: Working with developers, production teams, and other departments to resolve issues.
