Job Summary

QHT Clinic, Haridwar is seeking a qualified and skilled Anaesthesiologist to manage perioperative patient care, including preoperative assessment, anesthesia administration during procedures, and postoperative management. The candidate should ensure patient safety, optimal anesthesia care, and smooth surgical workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preoperative evaluations and assessments of patients scheduled for surgical or diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop individualized anesthesia care plans considering patient health status and procedure type.
  • Administer appropriate anesthesia (general, regional, local) safely and monitor patient response during procedures.
  • Monitor vital signs and ensure patient stability throughout surgery.
  • Manage pain relief and sedation during and after procedures.
  • Provide postoperative care and manage complications related to anesthesia.
  • Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth surgical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, anesthesia charts, and documentation of perioperative care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and clinic regulations.
  • Stay updated on new techniques, drugs, and equipment in anesthesia practice.
  • Participate in emergency response situations, including resuscitation if required.

Qualifications

  • MD / DNB in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid license to practice in India (or specifically in Uttarakhand).
  • Clinical experience: ideally 1+ years in hospital or surgical settings.
  • Expertise in administering anesthesia safely for a range of procedures (minor and major surgeries).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and perioperative care.
  • Ability to respond promptly in emergencies and critical situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.
  • Attention to detail, record keeping, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Teamwork and coordination with surgeons and nursing staff.
  • Ethical practice, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position with flexible hours based on surgical schedule.
  • Work involves operating room presence, pre/postoperative care, and occasional on-call duties.
  • Interaction with a diverse patient population.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
