Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supermarket Analyst with hands-on experience in SAP to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will leverage data analytics tools, particularly SAP modules, inventory management, and customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining technical expertise with business acumen to support data-driven decision-making for our chain of supermarkets.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, inventory, and supply chain data using SAP to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend pricing strategies.
• Develop and maintain SAP-based dashboards and reports for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock turnover, waste reduction, and sales per square foot.
• Collaborate with store managers and procurement teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements via SAP configurations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform merchandising and promotional strategies.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with retail standards in SAP systems, including data migration and integration with other ERP tools.
• Generate monthly/quarterly reports on supermarket performance and present findings to senior leadership.
• Support ad-hoc analytical projects, such as new store openings or seasonal inventory planning.
• Stay updated on retail analytics best practices and SAP enhancements to drive efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Analyst in retail/supermarket operations, with proven expertise in SAP
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) integrated with SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, Excel, and statistical modeling.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in supermarket-specific challenges like perishable goods management or POS system integration.
