What is Investigations Analyst? (1 year renewable contract)

We are looking for a junior to mid-level professional to support our Compliance Investigations function and will be based in Islamabad, Pakistan. This role is an opportunity to work closely with Veon HQ Investigations team and play a critical part in strengthening our compliance program, risk management, data reporting, and automation capabilities.

You will be responsible for driving efficiency through reporting, dashboards and automation, ensuring the accuracy of various dashboards, initiatives and enabling insights that directly support decision-making.

What does Investigations Analyst do?

• Organizing interaction with other departments of the company to obtain data required for the conduct of corporate investigations
• Preparing reports based on the results of corporate investigations
• Support in managing speak up hotline
• Support in managing invoices related to Business Partners and Vendors
• Coordinate with different Operating Companies to collect, validate, and consolidate compliance-related data / information
• Design, implement, and automate compliance reports/ use of AI for timely and accurate delivery
• Develop impactful dashboards that enhance visibility and monitoring of compliance activities within the department
• Deliver daily operational support to the Head of Investigations & Senior Manager Investigations, ensuring seamless execution of compliance activities across functions.

Facilitate coordination, documentation, and follow-up on compliance initiatives, audits, and risk mitigation efforts.

Requirements

What does it take to be an Investigations Analyst?

• Strong IT proficiency with a focus on data handling, automation, and dashboard/report development (Power Automate, Excel or similar tools).
• Excellent presentation and report writing skills with the ability to simplify complex data.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
A positive, solution-oriented attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Audit or related field)
• Prior experience in audit, compliance, investigations, reporting, or data analysis roles will be considered a plus point
• Fluent in spoken and written English for clear interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Mandatory advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
