The Team: You will be part of Bank Rates team under Corporate and Industry Insights within the Enterprise Data Organization, composed of colleagues based in Manila, Islamabad, and Ahmedabad. You will provide support on research, validation, and update of Bank Rates data. Bank Rates team is offering different bank’s Federal rates mainly for four products i.e. Savings, Mortgage, Credit Card and Consumers within US region.
The Role: The Assistant Manager will be responsible for guiding and overseeing a group of team members to achieve departmental goals, deliver high-quality work, and maintain efficient operational performance. This position requires a balance of leadership, technical expertise , and communication skills to ensure that team members are well-supported, motivated, and aligned with organizational objectives . The Team Lead will foster a collaborative environment, provide coaching and mentorship, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The Impact: This position will not only provide exposure to research and analysis of Bank Rates and Fees datasets but also foster collaboration with our Data Transformation colleagues, global teams within the Enterprise Data Organization.
Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Supervision:
Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of 25 individuals to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure the team meets performance objectives and quality standards across the globe.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring the team remains focused, engaged, and collaborative.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and address any challenges.
Task Management & Workflow Coordination:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skill sets, experience, and development goals.
Monitor individual and team performance, adjusting workloads or providing assistance as necessary to meet operational demands.
Training & Development:
Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to new and existing team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Identify team development needs and work with management to create training programs or growth opportunities.
Perform regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to improve both individual and team performance.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and measure individual and team performance metrics, providing reports and updates to management.
Ensure that team members adhere to established quality standards, processes, and KPIs.
Identify areas for improvement and proactively implement corrective actions to address any performance gaps.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
Act as the first point of contact for resolving team-related issues, conflicts, or concerns, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
Analyze challenges faced by the team and provide solutions to streamline operations and improve overall performance.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher management as necessary.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Collaborate with other departments to align on projects, initiatives, and operational goals.
Serve as a liaison between upper management and team members, conveying updates, expectations, and feedback both ways.
Work with other team leads and department heads to share best practices, discuss challenges, and ensure alignment across teams.
Automation:
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements or best practices.
Identify opportunities to automate the process through multiple tech such as web extraction, SPARK Assist, Doc Extraction, python etc.
Lead initiatives to improve team efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize workflows.
Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies to propose innovative solutions for the team.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of team activities, attendance, and other relevant data.
Handle administrative tasks related to team operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workload management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with experience .
If not a people leader, 4-5 years of experience as a Lead Data Analyst or equivalent role, who have supported Front Line Managers in Operations
Proven ability to manage a team, set clear goals, and motivate others toward achieving high performance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power Bi & Spark Assist (LLM).

Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
