Function Analytics

Job Purpose The Head of Analytics will lead the data and analytics function for the Housing Finance business, driving insights across credit underwriting, customer acquisition, portfolio management, collections, and regulatory compliance. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decisions to optimize risk, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience in the affordable and prime housing segments.

Role · Define and implement the analytics roadmap aligned with the HFC’s business strategy. · Partner with leadership across credit, risk, operations, and sales to drive data-led decision-making. · Promote a culture of analytics and performance measurement across the organization. · Usage of credit scoring models for salaried and self-employed borrowers. · Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and early warning indicators. · Support credit policy formulation and risk appetite frameworks with data insights. · Drive customer segmentation, acquisition funnel analysis, and channel performance. · Analyze product performance across geographies, ticket sizes, and borrower profiles. · Identify opportunities for cross-sell, up-sell, and customer retention. · Build and lead a high-performing analytics team · Evaluate and implement tools and platforms to enhance analytics maturity

Qualification &

experience · Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields · 8–10 years in analytics, preferably in financial services (Banking/NBFC/HFC), with leadership experience in customer and risk analytics.

Essential skills · Strong command of SQL, Python/R, Tableau, and data warehousing tools · Strong expertise in credit risk modelling and Market mix models · Experience with statistical modelling, machine learning, and big data platforms · Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
