Location: I.I Chundrigar Rd, Karachi, Pakistan (On-site)

Working Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (5 days/week, aligned with US business hours)

Job Summary:

BackTech is looking for a skilled Android Developer (Kotlin) to develop a secure, scalable, and high-performance native Android application for reconciliation and financial reporting workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop native Android applications using Kotlin

* Build complex, high-performance UI components (dashboards, reports, tables, charts)

* Implement authentication, role-based authorization, and secure data storage

* Integrate REST APIs, background services, and push notifications

* Optimize app performance for large datasets and real-time updates

* Ensure app stability, scalability, and maintainability

* Implement offline data storage and synchronization mechanisms

* Deploy and maintain Google Play Store releases

* Collaborate with backend, iOS, and cross-functional teams

* Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code

Required Skills:

* Strong experience with Kotlin

* Solid knowledge of Android SDK & Jetpack components

* Understanding of MVVM architecture

* REST API integration experience

* Local data storage using Room/SQLite

Good to Have:

* Familiarity with hybrid frameworks, Firebase, analytics, and CI/CD pipelines
