Within each vertical market, Jonas boasts a group of market-leading brands, all of which are respected and longstanding leaders within their own domain. Constellation Software Inc. acquires, maintains, supports, and enhances software systems for life. This position is part of our Jonas Club ERP's global R&D team. Worldwide, over 2,200 clubs in more than 17 countries, with memberships ranging from 100 to 20,000, utilize the Jonas Club ERP Software to build and enrich member relationships, increase revenues, and decrease costs.

The Position
The division is seeking an Intermediate Mobile Developer with expertise in both iOS and Android application development to join its team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications that align with technical requirements and business objectives. The selected candidate will be based at the Contour Software Karachi resource center office, working as an extension of the division’s R&D department.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for both iOS using Swift/Objective-C and Android platforms using React Native.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, UI/UX, QA, and backend engineers
- Implement clean, maintainable, and reusable code following iOS & Android development best practices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs into mobile applications
- Ensure application performance, quality, security, and responsiveness.
- Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory issues
- Write unit tests and assist in UI testing to ensure application stability
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Support app deployment, versioning, and maintenance through the App Store
- Stay updated with the latest trends, frameworks, and guidelines for both iOS and Android.
- Ability and wiling to learn and work for the cross-platform / Android development when needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in iOS and Android application development with strong proficiency in Swift / Objective-C.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX standards and design principles.
- Solid understanding of MVC / MVVM architecture patterns.
- Good experience with testing mobile applications and enterprise software through manual and automated techniques/unit test frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON Data, third-party libraries, and modern frameworks.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with iOS app lifecycle, memory management, and multithreading (GCD, NSOperation)
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of App Store submission process and Apple review guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in applications efficiently.
- Able to develop high-quality code that meets functional requirements, is easy to maintain, and provides a positive user experience.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (including Scrum and Kanban)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
