Android Development

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin/Java and hands-on experience in building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, Material Design, and API integrations, along with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy Android applications with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Design responsive and user-friendly UI/UX using XML layouts or Jetpack Compose.
• Integrate APIs including RESTful services, authentication flows, and real-time features (WebSockets, chat, notifications).
• Implement and manage local databases (Room/SQLite) for offline data storage.
• Work with push notifications, chat/messaging UI, and media handling (upload/download of images, videos, GIFs).
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and stability through effective debugging and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Utilize version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) for efficient project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
• Atleast 1.5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material Design.
• Experience with Room Database (SQLite) for local storage.
• Strong experience in REST API integration, JSON parsing, and libraries such as Retrofit/Volley/OkHttp.
• Ability to build responsive and clean UI/UX.
• Knowledge of authentication flows and handling real-time features.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture (MVVM, MVP, MVI).
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with push notifications and analytics.
• Prior experience in social or community-driven apps
• Familiarity with chat and messaging features,
• Experience in handling multimedia content (images, videos, GIFs).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs180,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
