Junior Software Developer

Ascend BPO Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Software Developer with at least 1 year of professional experience in software development and a proven ability to use AI-powered tools to assist in coding and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with strong programming skills and the ability to leverage AI applications to enhance code quality, reduce development time, and improve productivity.

Responsibilities:

✔Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications.

✔Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Tabnine) to speed up development.

✔ Translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable code.

✔Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications to ensure quality.

✔Collaborate with the team to review code and suggest improvements.

✔Stay updated with the latest AI coding assistance tools and software development best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, Java, JavaScript).

Experience using AI-powered coding tools for code generation, debugging, and documentation.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of web, desktop, or mobile application development.

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with RESTful APIs.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Good communication and team work skills.

Location: Lahore
