We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team as an Animal Care and Front Desk Assistant. Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and animal-loving individual to assist with front desk duties and animal care. You must be comfortable handling large dogs and interacting with all types of dogs and cats. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong commitment to animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

• Front Desk Duties:
• Answer phone calls and respond to public inquiries.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and adopters.
• Manage front desk operations efficiently.
• Animal Care:
• Clean dog kennels and cat cages, litter boxes.
• Feed animals according to established schedules.
• Handle large dogs safely and comfortably.
• Work Schedule:
• Work 1 to 2 days during the week and must be available weekends.
• Shifts are typically 4 to 8 hours long.

Requirements:

• Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to work and a valid driver's license.
• Animal Interaction: No allergies to cats or dogs; must be comfortable working with both.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work with both dogs and cats and be flexible with tasks.
• Ability to stand/walk your entire shift and move quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
• Teamwork: Must be a positive and collaborative team member who contributes to a supportive and dynamic work environment.
