Animal Caretaker

BMC K9 is seeking an experienced and dependable Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, a passion for animal welfare, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home boarding for a minimum of two dogs using kennels or designated safe spaces.
• Offer dog walking services for clients as scheduled.
• Conduct drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, and general care.
• Provide pet sitting services at clients’ homes when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all animals in care.
• Communicate regularly with clients and the BMC K9 team regarding pet updates and schedules.
• Ensure punctuality and reliability for all appointments and services.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Ability to safely manage multiple dogs at once.
• Must have a secure, pet-friendly home environment suitable for boarding.
• Reliable transportation for travel to client homes.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Must pass a background check and provide professional references.
• Availability for in-person interviews.
• Submission of a current resume required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
