API Inspector

Job Purpose:
Carry out in-service inspection, repair, and maintenance verification of pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks in line with API standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of pressure equipment as per API 510 (Pressure Vessels), API 570 (Piping), and API 653 (Storage Tanks).
• Review inspection reports and recommend corrective maintenance actions.
• Ensure integrity of static equipment during shutdown and maintenance works.
• Verify repairs, alterations, and re-rating of pressure equipment.
• Maintain accurate inspection documentation and compliance records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Engineering.
• Authorized Inspector as per API 510, 570, and 653.
• Preferably Certified Welding Inspector (CWI – AWS or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years’ Oil & Gas inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of API, ASME, and other international codes.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be available in Qatar.
• Must have Turnaround Shutdown experience.
• Must attend client interview via Telephonic or MS Teams.
• Profiles to be submitted with certificate copies.
